Arrived in Iceland with a bit of rain. The drive from the airport is about forty minutes into the town. Every passenger is required to wear seat belts on the bus luckily the belts can be extended to fit even the larger sized person. There are lava deposits along the way as we drove into town. Trees have been imported from Alaska and Canada so there are lots of trees seen in and around. Fall is in the air so the fall colors adds to the beauty. There are periods of rain then breaks but tourists are busy moving around. The place is very clean lovely paved roads but very narrow and winding. There are high rise buildings all around the city. The designs of the homes differs from area to area.
Notice here the house entrance small door and garage larger door
In the states we use no parking signs and on one of those doors there was an imprinted design of a tow truck towing a car.
I am curious to see the interior design of the homes with the small doors. I could just imagine the challenge a tall person would have going through those small door.
